Introduction
The founder, Dr. Bing Wang, P.Eng., obtained his basic education from Chongqing JiaoTong University in late 70s. He come to Canada in early 80s and completed his M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees from McGill University in Montreal. He has 40 years of professional experience backed by strong academic and research works. His expertise covers various climatic conditions from permafrost, desert, to tropical rainforest settings from over 25 different countries.
His specific duties involve peer/independent technical reviews, audit, evaluations, management of projects, government liaison, regulatory approval, risk analyses and implementation of risk mitigation and remedial measures.
Dr. Wang has significant experience with cycloned sand production and sand dam construction, tailings and water management projects, including conventional, thickened, paste, and dry stacking disposal of tailings, construction cost estimation, IFC drawings, technical specifications, and CQA/CQC supervisions.
He also carried out analytical assessment and modelling of hydro-technical structures for detailed stability, liquefaction potential assessment, static and dynamic deformation, dam break analyses, seismic response, thermal effect and groundwater flow evaluations.
He has led in the design and construction of over a dozen small and large tailings dams, being acted as Designers of Record, Engineers of Record, and Qualified Persons per NI43-101 Technical Report filings in SEDAR.
Dr. Wang worked with a number of large reputable consulting firms, as such SNC-Lavalin, Agra / AMEC / Wood, Klohn Crippen Berger, and Mine Operators, as such Barrick Gold and Newcrest Mining.
